The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and officially approved for use in units of the Defense Forces a number of devices and devices that facilitate the use of both Ukrainian and foreign small arms and grenade launchers on combat equipment and stationary positions. All these developments were created and manufactured by Ukrainian gunsmiths, informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The Armed Forces received permission to operate a tripod-mortar for the Mk 19 automatic grenade launcher of 40 mm caliber, a small infantry tripod for a large-caliber Browning M2 machine gun, a universal mount-lodge and a special stand for mounting machine guns in the bodies of pickup trucks.
The Ukrainian tripod-mortar allows you to fire from a grenade launcher along a hinged trajectory from closed positions. The design is characterized by strength and is equipped with running screws for smooth adjustment of vertical and horizontal guidance. It is important that throughout the entire range of vertical adjustment, the horizontal adjustment plane remains stable without skewing the axis of rotation.
A small infantry tripod is a domestic analogue of a foreign design for a large-caliber machine gun. It is quickly disassembled and installed in a stationary position, and thanks to adapters, it can be used with various models of machine guns and grenade launchers.
The universal mount allows you to mount weapons on infantry tripods, cars, watercraft, armored vehicles, ground robotic complexes or automated turrets. When used with large-caliber machine guns, the mount reduces recoil, improves firing accuracy, and reduces mechanical and vibrational effects on sights.
The universal rack is designed for mounting large-caliber machine guns on pickup trucks. Its design provides for removal relative to the center of the mount to compensate for the length of the weapon and ensure a comfortable position for the shooter in the body. The rack allows you to work with two axes of rotation, has rotating nodes with special bushings that do not require maintenance and lubrication. The mount allows you to quickly install, remove or change the weapon together with the magazine.
