Bitcoin’s New All-Time High: Cryptocurrency Price Exceeds $96K

On Thursday, November 21, the value of Bitcoin surpassed the $96,000 mark for the first time, reaching a new all-time high of $96,898 per coin. This came amid optimistic investor expectations for US cryptocurrency policy following the election of Donald Trump as president. About this informs Reuters agency.
The value of bitcoin has more than doubled this year, and in the past two weeks, since Trump won the election, it has risen another 40%. Many investors believe that the newly elected president, who during the election campaign promised to turn the US into the “crypto capital of the world”, will promote the development of digital assets.
More than $4 billion has flowed into bitcoin-focused exchange-traded funds in the US since the election. That fueled a big rally in crypto stocks, with bitcoin miner MARA Holdings adding 14% overnight and shares of digital asset investor MicroStrategy up 10%, pushing its market capitalization above $100 billion.
Before that, on November 6, Bitcoin hit the $75,000 mark, rising 9.26% on election night. A few days later, on November 11, the cryptocurrency broke the record again, reaching $82,394. The last time such a rapid increase in price was observed in March 2024.
