Brave1 helped attract $25 million in foreign investment: Fedorov

The Brave1 military technology cluster has managed to attract more than $25 million in foreign investment, which is $20 million more than in 2023. This was announced by First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

According to him, the increase in investment was made possible through cooperation with private investors and international venture capital funds, supported by Brave1.

In 2023, the amount of investment was $5 million.

At the investment demo days that Brave1 regularly organises, companies meet with potential investors. Several million-dollar deals can be concluded at just one such event. For example, Swarmer, which develops AI solutions for drone swarms, received $2.7 million in foreign investment after meeting investors at demo days, Fedorov noted.

As a reminder, Mikhail Fedorov expects Ukrainian defence tech companies to attract up to $50 million in investments by the end of the year.
