Ukrzaliznytsia presented the Accessibility Map for Ukrainian stations
Thanks to the new Accessibility Map from Ukrzaliznytsia, passengers can now check the availability of various locations at Ukrainian stations. 3D models on the map allow you to view entrance areas and platforms in detail in order to choose the most convenient route in advance. Information about 12 train stations in the following cities is already available on the interactive map:
- Kyiv
- Lviv
- Odesa
- Dnipro
- Kharkiv
- Amounts
- Ivano-Frankivsk
- Poltava
- Zaporozhye
- Uzhhorod
- Even
- Vinnytsia
Later, other cities will be added to the map. You can go to the map through the LUN City portal or using the Ukrzaliznytsia application.
In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia announced the adaptation of its application for people with visual impairments. From now on, users can interact with all elements of the interface using voice control and sound. This update allows people with visual impairments to conveniently buy train tickets from the comfort of their homes and without assistance.
In cooperation with Mastercard, Ukrzaliznytsia added support for VoiceOver (for iOS) and TalkBack (for Android) functions to the application, which allows users to interact with buttons, switches, text fields and other interface elements using text labels that describe their functions.
