People’s deputy from “Servant of the People”, who has an apartment in Spain and three more in Lviv, received compensation for housing rent: investigation
The parliamentarian ignored the written request that came from the journalists.
People’s deputy from the “Servant of the People” party, Yevhen Petruniak, received almost half a million hryvnias in compensation for housing rent, while his wife bought an apartment in Spain and invested a million zlotys in Polish real estate.
Investigative journalists”Investigation. Info” paid attention to the declaration of the People’s Deputy and published a video on their YouTube channel. They found out that during the full-scale war, Yevhen Petrunyak received 486 thousand hryvnias in compensation for renting housing, although he did not indicate the costs of rented housing in his declaration.
When journalists asked Petrunyak for an explanation, he asked to send a written request and assured that he would answer all questions. However, later the deputy did not respond to the written request and blocked the journalists’ phone number.
Regarding the apartment purchased by his wife, the investigators found out that Iryna Petruniak bought an apartment in Spain with an area of 130 square meters and invested more than one million zlotys in the projects of two Polish developers.
According to the latest declaration, in 2023 Yevhen Petrunyak received 658 thousand hryvnias as a salary in the Verkhovna Rada, his wife Iryna declared 281 thousand hryvnias of income from “independent professional activity”, 30 thousand hryvnias from insurance payments and 2.4 million hryvnias from the sale of an Audi car 2019 e-Tron.
As reported by Zaxid.net, 47-year-old Yevhen Petrunyak is also the owner of two plots of land and a 481.9 square meter residential building in Zubra, a non-residential premises and a parking space in Lviv, as well as a co-owner of a number of real estate properties in the village of Dubrovytsia near Lviv . Iryna Petrunyak, in addition to real estate in Spain, owns three apartments in Lviv (32 m², 93 m², 206.7 m²), three parking spaces and non-residential premises. The couple acquired real estate in Ukraine even before the full-scale war. Evgeny Petrunyak also declared a 2007 Girard-Perregaux watch and a 2019 Audi A6 car.
