China has expressed its readiness to participate in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. This was stated at the briefing by the spokesperson of the Chinese Agency for International Development and Cooperation (an analogue of the American USAID), Li Ming. informs China Daily.
“Since the beginning of the “Ukrainian crisis”, China has transferred four batches of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. – noted Lee, commenting on Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s words about hoping for China’s help in restoring peace and rebuilding Ukraine.
Li Ming assured that China will continue to make efforts to maintain world peace and stability.
“We are ready to continue providing assistance to Ukraine within the limits of our capabilities and in accordance with the wishes of the parties involved, which, of course, includes post-war reconstruction.” – emphasized Lee.
At the same time, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said that China has never supplied weapons or dual-purpose goods to the parties to the “Ukrainian conflict” and strongly denies accusations of involvement in supporting the war in Ukraine.
