On the night of September 7, 2024, Russian troops attacked Ukraine using “Shahed” type attack drones. Thanks to the effective work of the air defense forces, most of the kamikaze drones were shot down. The wreckage of one of the drones was found near the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, about what reported press service of the Ukrainian parliament.
“After today’s night attack by Russian drones, the wreckage of a downed drone was found near the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. No damage was found”, – the message emphasizes.
In the published photos, you can see the wreckage of the drone next to the building of the Verkhovna Rada.
It should be noted that on the night of September 7, 2024, the army of the Russian Federation launched 67 attack UAVs of the “Shahed” type from the territory of Kursk, Yeisk and Chauda (Crimea). Anti-aircraft defense worked in several regions, in particular in Vinnytsia, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv and others.
In the Pechersk district of Kyiv, falling debris was recorded in four different places, without casualties or significant destruction. A fire broke out in one of the areas, which was promptly extinguished.
