Despite the shelling, Feldman Ecopark is preparing for the Chrysanthemum Ball

From September 29 and throughout October, the traditional Autumn Chrysanthemum Ball will be held at Feldman Ecopark, despite the ongoing regular shelling. This decision was taken by the management of the park as a symbol of indomitability and preservation of cultural traditions even in war conditions, the Ecopark press service reported.

Feldman Ecopark has repeatedly been the target of attacks. Only on September 12, Russian troops launched an airstrike on the territory of the park, dropping a FAB-250 aerial bomb. As a result, trees and a fence were damaged.

“As you all can see, the shelling is happening quite randomly now, so we cannot afford to organize mass events. However, the variety of colorful chrysanthemums in the Feldman Ecopark is our tradition that the enemies cannot overcome!”, – said the founder of the park Oleksandr Feldman.

Before the war, the Chrysanthemum Ball was an annual event held every autumn, attracting thousands of visitors not only from the Kharkiv region, but also from all over Ukraine. The key feature of the holiday was large-scale flower arrangements and installations decorating the entire park. In 2023, the event also took place, starting on October 1.

The organizers emphasize that all necessary safety measures will be observed during the event. The Ecopark will be open to visitors who are aware of possible risks and are ready to support the festive mood. Entrance to the Chrysanthemum Ball remains free.
