Doctors from MSEC will not be able to work in newly created expert commissions: Radutskyi

Doctors who worked in medical and social expert commissions (MSEK), especially in managerial positions, will not be able to hold positions in the newly created commissions for the assessment of daily functioning of a person. About this stated Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Health, Medical Care and Medical Insurance Mykhailo Radutsky during the telethon.

“First of all, if a person worked at MSEK, then he had to be a very experienced person. We don’t have enough doctors, and an experienced doctor will always find a job. But these are definitely doctors who worked at MSEK, especially in management positions, they definitely do not have the right to work in newly created commissions”, – noted Radutskyi.

He emphasized that the legislation prohibits doctors with work experience in MSEK from holding positions in new commissions. If such cases are detected, the head of the institution where the relevant commission operates will be held responsible.

We would like to remind you that from January 1, 2025, a new system for assessing daily functioning, which will be carried out by expert teams of medical practitioners, came into operation, and the outdated system of medical and social examination was eliminated
