‘Energoatom is preparing to spend UAH 11 million on the purchase of two Turkish buses

On October 21, 2024, the “Emergency Technical Center” branch of “Energoatom” signed a contract with “Auto-Region” LLC for the purchase of two buses for the amount of 11.08 million hryvnias. This is reported by the “Prozorro” system, transfer “Our money”.
According to the contract, the company will deliver two Ar-Temsa Prestij SX intercity buses of the year 2023, each of which is designed for 29 passengers, at a price of UAH 5.54 million per unit (approximately $134,000). The buses are equipped with a Euro-6 diesel engine, safety systems, air conditioning and other necessary functions. Payment for transport will be made within six months of delivery.
The buses are 75% manufactured by the Turkish company Temsa Skoda Sabanci Ulasim A.S., and the remaining 25% belong to the localization of the supplier company.
Earlier, in July 2024, the Central Enterprise for the Management of Radioactive Waste purchased a similar Ar-Temsa Prestij SX bus for a similar price — UAH 5.49 million. Also, at the end of 2023, Ukrnafta and the National Guard ordered such buses for UAH 4.73-4.96 million per unit, which corresponds to the current cost, but in some cases the characteristics remained unknown due to the peculiarities of defense procurement.
The company “Auto-Region” became the only participant in the tender for the supply, since no one else applied for the tender. Dmytro Haydamaha from Kyiv is the owner of the company. Last year, Energoatom tried three times to conclude a contract with this company for the purchase of Turkish Temsa Avenue Electron electric buses to service nuclear power plants, but due to the scandal and the rejection of other manufacturers, the contract was eventually terminated.
According to the data of the “Prozorro” system, since 2016, “Auto-Region” has concluded state contracts for a total amount of UAH 1.15 billion.
