Luxury for budget money: State Security Service purchased Lexus SUVs for 3.3 million hryvnias
On August 13, the Department of State Security of Ukraine held a tender, as a result of which an agreement was concluded with ViDi Elite LLC for the purchase of three specialized vehicles based on the elite Lexus SUV. The total value of the transaction was 9.81 million hryvnias. About this writes publication “Our money”.
According to the terms of the contract, the State Guard Department will receive three special-purpose VD L0112SG vehicles by the end of 2024. These cars, based on the Lexus GX 460, will cost 3.27 million hryvnias per unit.
The purchased cars are equipped with a powerful 4.6-liter gasoline engine that meets the Euro 5 environmental standard. The cars also have security systems, cruise control, climate control, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and an electric sunroof.
Additionally, the package includes metal engine protection, a protective radiator grille, a road kit, rubber floor mats, winter tires and tinting of all windows, except for the front one. Specialized equipment includes a horn loudspeaker, an LED beacon under the windshield, as well as 16 LED lights located under the front and rear windows and in the radiator grille.
It is worth noting that the Lexus GX 460 in the standard Luxury configuration without additional equipment is sold in car showrooms at a price of 3.03 million hryvnias with a discount or up to 3.62 million hryvnias without a discount.
It is interesting that the ViDi Elite company received the contract without competition, since no one else submitted an application for open tenders. This company is part of the “ViDi Group” group, which is controlled by Vitaly Dzhurynskyi and is registered in Sofiivska Borshchagivka.
We will remind you that last year the State Security Department also purchased two cars based on Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2023, paying 1.98 million hryvnias for each of them.
