Fintech company Revolut announced the expansion of available services for Ukrainians

Ukrainian refugees who ended up abroad due to the war faced numerous financial difficulties. Limited access to banking services, difficulties with transferring funds to Ukraine, high commissions and limits created additional obstacles to leading a normal life. Therefore, every initiative that facilitates financial transactions for Ukrainians is extremely important. One of these steps was the expansion of the opportunities of the British fintech company Revolut in Ukraine.
Company Revolut announced on the significant expansion of available services for Ukrainians. From now on, they can open European accounts, make currency transfers without commissions and restrictions, as well as invest in cryptocurrency and precious metals. Such opportunities are especially important for those who were forced to leave Ukraine, but want to maintain financial ties with their homeland.
One of the key innovations was the introduction of a dedicated Clear Sky debit card that supports more than 30 currencies. For Ukrainians, the issuance of the card is free, and its delivery to Ukraine is carried out with the help of Nova Poshta. This card allows you to conveniently pay in different countries of the world without extra conversion costs.
In addition, Revolut offers Ukrainians free currency transfers between users of the service, as well as the possibility of making international payments via SEPA and SWIFT. It is important to note that Revolut works according to European standards, so it is not subject to currency restrictions that exist in the Ukrainian banking system. However, such restrictions may apply on the part of Ukrainian banks when receiving transfers.
Another useful feature was the ability to invest in cryptocurrency. Over 220 tokens are available on the Revolut app, giving users a wide range of assets to diversify their finances. You can also buy and sell precious metals in the application, including gold, platinum and silver.
For families with children, Revolut has introduced a special children’s card that allows parents to control their children’s spending. This will be useful for Ukrainian families who live abroad and want to teach their children financial literacy in a safe environment.
Revolut also does its part to support humanitarian initiatives: users from abroad can get a Clear Sky card by making a donation of at least £5 or the equivalent currency in support of the United Nations Refugee Agency.
The launch of these functions is an important step for the financial stability of Ukrainians in times of crisis. Revolut makes it possible to manage your finances without unnecessary obstacles, which is a great relief for refugees and those who want to continue supporting relatives in Ukraine. In conditions of global instability, such initiatives help Ukrainians to remain financially independent and confident in the future.
