“First a fair peace, then fair elections”: Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s statement (video)

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that elections in the country will be held only after the establishment of a just peace. He made such a statement during the presentation of the Internal Stability Plan of Ukraine, which took place in the Verkhovna Rada.
“We all know that the Constitution of Ukraine and the law do not allow elections to be held in wartime. And no one in the world demanded and is not demanding this from Ukraine.” – said Zelensky.
He emphasized that elections in Ukraine will be held after the end of martial law.
“Ukraine first needs a fair peace. And then Ukrainians will hold fair elections”, – emphasized Zelensky.
Later, People’s Deputy from “European Solidarity” Oleksiy Honcharenko placed in Telegram, a video with a part of the president’s speech.
