In 2025, Google Search will become an AI assistant

In 2025, Google Search should become a full-fledged AI-based assistant. This was stated by Google CEO Sundar Pichai, informs TechCrunch.
In his report, Pichai talked about the next stage of the development of search technologies, in particular, about the implementation of the capabilities of artificial intelligence developed in the DeepMind research laboratory.
One of the key updates will be the Deep Research function in the Gemini AI model – this is an intelligent agent that will be able to perform a deep search and analysis of information at the user’s request. A similar tool was recently introduced by OpenAI as part of the $200 ChatGPT Pro package.
Pichai noted that Google has a “clear vision” of what the new search experience could look like thanks to another AI agent, Project Mariner (formerly known as Jarvis). This system will be able to interact with website interfaces on behalf of users and perform various tasks.
