According to the TCC, the participants in the incident damaged the car, in particular punctured the tires. The reason for the indignation was the alleged collision of a car with a woman, which caused an emotional reaction on the part of passers-by.
“The actions of citizens had signs of organized opposition to the performance of official duties by representatives of the Armed Forces”, – says the message.
Law enforcement officers and representatives of the military law enforcement service arrived at the scene. The recruitment center stressed that obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during martial law may be considered treason or other grave crimes that threaten national security. Criminal liability is also provided for resisting law enforcement officers and military personnel, hooliganism, property damage, and obstructing the performance of official duties.
“We call on citizens to immediately stop any illegal actions, comply with the norms of the current legislation of Ukraine and preserve public order. The Armed Forces of Ukraine act exclusively within the limits of their legal powers, and any actions aimed at preventing this will not remain without a proper legal assessment.” – added the TCC of Khmelnytskyi region.
