Ukrposhta will allow you to pick up parcels at branches without queuing
Starting from Monday, June 9, in all branches of “Ukrposhta” where there is no separate window for issuing shipments, customers will be able to receive parcels without waiting in line. At the same time, there is a limit of no more than five parcels per visit. About this reported the press service of the company.
“Tell the operator what you want, and don’t wait too long.” – noted in “Ukrposhta”.
The introduction of this approach aims to reduce waiting time and speed up service for those customers who come exclusively for parcels, and not, for example, for receiving a pension. In addition, Ukrposhta for the first time published a delivery quality indicator: in May, 98% of shipments across Ukraine were delivered on time.
“The global level of fast delivery is considered to be 95%, and the market leaders – FedEx and UPS – are proud of their 95-97%. We have come a long way to this. Now you can be sure that your shipment will reach the addressee and it will happen clearly on time. And the ability to receive shipments without queues will allow you to receive your package even faster.”, – stressed the general director of JSC “Ukrposhta” Ihor Smilyanskyi.
On Time Delivery (OTD) is an important metric that reflects the proportion of orders delivered on time. A high level of OTD indicates the stability and efficiency of the logistics system. An indicator of more than 95% is considered “good”, and a result at the level of 98% and above is “excellent” and is typical of leading companies in the industry.
“And all thanks to the automation of sorting and optimization of logistics routes”, – the company explained.
At the same time, 2% of the delays were caused by enemy shelling in the Donetsk, Sumy and Kherson regions.
