The US will open four airports for Ukrposhta parcels

The national postal operator “Ukrposhta” signed an agreement with the United States Postal Service (USPS), which was prepared for more than two years. As a result of the agreement, the USA will open four airports for “Ukrposhta” parcels. About this reported head of “Ukrposhta” Ihor Smilyanskyi.
“We have agreed to open four airports (Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami and New York) for delivery in the near future, so that the already fast delivery to the USA will become even faster. The prices will not change, but I am sure that all our customers will soon see even better delivery times to the USA.”, – said Smilyanskyi.
According to him, “Ukrposhta” aims to reduce the delivery time to the USA from 8-10 days to 6-8. In addition, Smilyansky assures, there will be “better tariffs for heavier parcels.”
“We already have a very cool offer for customers on light Prime parcels. We have agreed to extend it to parcels up to 5 kg. The implementation time is between October 1, 2025 and January 1, 2026.” – explained the head of “Ukrposhta”.
He noted that the team of the US Post Office promised to do everything possible to, given its status and the concluded agreement, convince Amazon and other platforms to open direct delivery to Ukraine.
“We signed the agreement after three hours of negotiations, and it was very appropriate to present the USPS team with a Mariupol steel stamp from our steel team with a piece of steel from the last batch of Azovstal. Many thanks to our American partners for their support,” – added Ihor Smilyanskyi.
