In Nikopol, a woman was killed and children were injured as a result of shelling by the Russian army

On March 15, another tragic shelling by Russian troops took place in Nikopol. A 70-year-old woman died as a result of a heavy artillery strike that hit the civilian population of the city.
About the incident reported Serhiy Lysak, head of the regional military administration. According to him, among the injured is an 11-year-old girl who was urgently taken to the hospital for medical assistance. Later it became known that another child, a three-year-old girl, was injured as a result of the attack. Both children are in a moderate condition and have been sent to a medical facility in Dnipro for further treatment.
Also injured was a 57-year-old woman who was wounded during another attack on the city. She will undergo treatment at home under the supervision of doctors.
As a result of the shelling, a religious institution, two private houses, and a power line suffered significant damage. Russian troops made almost one and a half dozen strikes on the Nikopol district, using artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles. The attacks were directed not only at Nikopol, but also at Marganetska, Chervonogrigorivska, Pokrovska, and Myrivska communities.
In addition to the religious building, five private houses, two farm buildings, 15 solar panels and a car were destroyed. As a result of the strikes, the power line was also damaged, which led to power outages in some areas.
