The situation in Pokrovsk

Pokrovsk remains a front-line city, which recently became one of the hottest spots on the front. Fighting continues intensively around the city, and local authorities have repeatedly called on residents to evacuate. Special attention is paid to families with children for whom forced evacuation has already been announced.

According to the latest data from analysts of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian troops have approached Pokrovsk to a distance of about eight kilometers, which further increases the danger for the civilian population of the region.
