In the Kherson region, the Russian army attacked a civilian car: there are dead and wounded

On July 23, in the Kherson region, the Russian military struck a civilian car with a drone, as a result of which two men were killed and two more people were injured. About this informs Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, exercising procedural leadership, opened a pre-trial investigation into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, which was accompanied by intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established that on the morning of July 23, 2025, the Russian military carried out a drone attack on a civilian car that was moving along a dirt road between the settlements of Nezlamne and Romashkovo in the Kherson district.
As a result of the attack, two men, aged 44 and 45, died. An 83-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man received injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized. Prosecutors, together with investigators, continue to record war crimes committed by Russian forces in order to further bring the guilty to justice.
As a reminder, in the morning of July 23, as a result of Russian shelling of Kherson and the village of Zorivka in the Kherson region, a 66-year-old woman was killed, her husband and two 13-year-old children were seriously injured. In addition, a 48-year-old man was injured as a result of a drone strike at night in Kherson. He was found to have an explosive injury and numerous shrapnel injuries to his torso and limbs. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he is under medical supervision.
