In Ukraine, 16 service centres are ready to provide services in shelters: GSC

In Ukraine, 16 territorial service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) provide services to citizens in shelters. About this reported press service of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Currently, in Ukraine, 35 territorial service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are equipped with shelters, 16 have the opportunity to provide services in shelters,” the message says.
The main service center also reported that the head of the institution, Mykola Rudyk, visited the Zhytomyr region, where together with the head of the regional service center of the GSC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vitaly Kovalchuk, and the head of the Zhytomyr OVA Vitaly Bunechko, they discussed the possibilities of improving the security and material and technical base of the service centers. Particular attention was paid to the arrangement of mobile shelters and the improvement of already existing protective structures near the service centers.
The communities of Zhytomyr Oblast have already actively participated in the implementation of these measures. For example, the Korosten city council allocated funds for the purchase of a modular mobile shelter, which will be installed near the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs No. 1843 in Korosten by the end of the year. This will ensure that workers and visitors can stay in a safe environment during an air alert without interrupting services.
