Macron confirmed Zelensky’s visit to France: details

Emmanuel Macron announced his intention to host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his working visit to France next week.

According to message France Bleu, the head of state will arrive in France on Thursday, June 6.

The President of France noted that Volodymyr Zelenskyi will take part in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy, which will take place in the city of Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer on Omaha Beach.

“U I will have the opportunity when President Zelenskyi goes to France next week on the occasion of D-Day, to receive him and then to express myself very precisely to announce that we are going to do more to support Ukraine.” – said Macron during a press conference in Germany with Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

The international ceremony in Normandy on June 6 is expected to be attended by the leaders of many states.
