Materials of journalistic investigation in which Stefanishyna appears were transferred to NABU: Honcharenko

People’s deputy from “European Solidarity” Oleksiy Goncharenko reported, that the materials in the case regarding possible abuses by ARMA officials, which includes the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration — Minister of Justice Olga Stefanishyna, have been handed over to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. The basis was the results of a journalistic investigation published by “Ukrainian Pravda”.
Goncharenko published the response of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) to his parliamentary request:
“At the same time, taking into account the information revealed in the investigation published by the online publication “Ukrainian Pravda” on June 4, 2025, about possible facts of abuse by ARMA officials during the transfer to the management of the House of Trade Unions, the National Agency directed the relevant information to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.”
Also, in the response of the NAKC, clarification was provided regarding the possible conflict of interests of the minister, stressing that in accordance with Art. 1 of the Law “On Prevention of Corruption”, the key signs of a conflict of interest are the presence of official (representative) powers and a private interest in a person, and only in their combination can a potential or real conflict arise.
“The presence of these signs in aggregate is mandatory, and the absence of at least one of them makes it impossible to establish the presence of a conflict of interests in a person”, – noted in the NAZK.
It will be recalled that on June 4, an investigation by “Ukrainian Pravda” reported that ARMA handed over the management of the House of Trade Unions in Kyiv to a company that, according to journalists, may be connected to the family of Minister of Justice Olga Stefanishyna, in particular, to her ex-husband. It was noted that this is already the fourth valuable object received by the same company.
Stefanishyna herself said in response that she had nothing to do with her ex-husband’s activities:
“An eternal problem with these exes. I thought I was already used to the fact that my name can be used in various circumstances, but no. After reading the article, I was surprised by a manic attempt to involve me, well, at least somehow, in the affairs of my ex-husband, with whom my contacts only take place regarding our two children. I clearly stated this in a detailed answer to the journalists’ request.”
