Military foundations raise UAH 223 million for ground drones for Ukraine’s defence

Since the beginning of 2024, large military funds have collected UAH 223.3 million for the purchase of ground drones for the Ukrainian military. About this informs Delo.ua with reference to data from open sources.

A representative of the company Tencore, which is engaged in the development of such drones, emphasized that volunteers provide about 80% of all purchases of ground drones for the front. He explained that funds can conclude agreements with manufacturers faster, bypassing lengthy government procedures, which allows for prompt delivery of drones to the frontline.

Among the most active funds are “Serhiy Prytula Foundation”, KOLO, United24, Dignitas and Volonter by prom. In particular, the Asylum Fund collected UAH 60.8 million from June to September for the Shablya and Rys automated turrets. United24 raised UAH 110 million and continues its fundraising campaign for various types of ground drones, including turrets, minesweepers, evacuation and logistics drones.

Within a year and a half, within the framework of the Brave1 project, developers received almost 100 grants totaling over UAH 37 million for the development of ground drones.

BF “Return Alive” is also actively collecting funds within the framework of the “Let’s live here 2.0” campaign, having already collected over UAH 40 million from the planned 100 million.
