Missile attacks on Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih: dozens of casualties and destruction

On the evening of 19 October, Russian troops carried out air strikes in Zaporizhzhia. According to preliminary reports, ten people were injured, including two children. The attack damaged residential buildings, cars, a car wash and a warehouse in a shopping centre, according to regional police.
The Russian Federation attacked the territory of the regional centre with aerial bombs (probably FABs). Russian troops targeted three districts of the city, including private households and open areas. The blast wave and debris partially destroyed residential buildings, damaged shops, a car wash, warehouses, and vehicles.
It is known about 10 injured citizens aged from 9 to 82 years. Among the injured are two children aged 9 and 13. This was reported by the national police of Zaporizhzhia region.
At the same time, late in the evening of 19 October, Kryvyi Rih came under fire. According to the head of the Dnipropetrovs’k Regional Military Administration, Lysak, the city was attacked twice with rockets. According to the head of the city’s Defence Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, 13 people were wounded in the shelling, and one person is in surgery. The Russian army struck Kryvyi Rih at around 22:40 and 23:11 on 19 October, using ballistic missiles.
According to the updated data, 17 people were injured in the Russian attacks in Kryvyi Rih, 14 of whom needed medical assistance. Eight of the injured are in hospital with moderate injuries. The Russian attack damaged a hotel, a shop, administrative buildings, educational institutions and seven high-rise buildings.
In addition, about 15 vehicles were destroyed, including three fire trucks, as many police cars and one ambulance. Headquarters have been set up in the city where people can file claims for property damage, receive building materials, and be provided with food and hot tea.
The head of the Defence Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, said that Russia had damaged 15 houses, 3 educational institutions, 3 administrative buildings, a hotel and 7 business facilities.
