MP: Bezuhla’s public statements resulted in the loss of defensive structures and the failure of the rotation in Vuhledar
The public statements of People’s Deputy Maryana Bezugloi, who represents the “Servant of the People” party, caused serious consequences for the Ukrainian military in Vugledar, in particular, the disruption of the rotation of fighters and the loss of important defensive positions. This was reported by People’s Deputy Serhiy Taruta in his posts on Facebook.
Taruta emphasized that the situation with the 72nd brigade, which held Ugledar, is extremely critical. Bezugla’s statement, in which she not only disclosed information about the planned rotation of the brigade, but also called it “withdrawal of the brigade from Vugledar”, was the reason for the immediate reaction of the Russian troops. According to him, less than a day after this publication, the enemy concentrated all its forces in this direction, which led to the loss of defensive structures and disruption of the rotation of Ukrainian fighters.
In addition, Taruta recalled Bezugla’s previous actions, when she collected personal data of servicemen and publicly reported the whereabouts of key individuals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which could lead to serious security threats. He also accused Bezugla of trying to discredit the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoly Bargylevych.
The deputy emphasized that these actions are particularly dangerous at a time when President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is making every effort in the US to maintain bipartisan support for Ukraine. In his opinion, Bezugla’s public statements undermine these diplomatic efforts, as she spreads doubts among the Western audience about the need for further assistance to Ukraine.
“Don’t believe in talk of a ‘struggle for justice’. Maryana Bezugla has all the tools – parliamentary and legal – to fight for justice in the legal field. And what does Maryana do? She leaks information about the deployment and movement of the Armed Forces to the enemy simply on her own pages in social networks and hinders the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
How many soldiers have to die, how many territories have to be lost, how many more diplomatic missions have to be disrupted before law enforcement agencies stop it? She won’t stop herself”, – summed up Taruta.
