Musk suspects Ukraine of a massive cyberattack on social network X

Around the world, users have recorded failures in the work of the social network X (Twitter). Elon Musk suspected Ukraine of cyberattacks, informs DW.

“This was a massive cyber attack against X. We are attacked every day, but this one was organized with significant resources involved,” – the owner of X, Elon Musk, commented on the situation.

The American billionaire suggested that “either a large coordinated group or an entire state” could be behind the attack. Later, Musk noted that the cyber attack was carried out from IP addresses located in Ukraine.

“IP addresses of cyber criminals are located in Ukraine”, he said.

At the same time, the pro-Palestinian hacker group Dark Storm Team, which previously repeatedly attacked websites and organizations in the USA, Ukraine, the UAE and Israel, has already taken responsibility for the failure of the X social network.

According to Downdetector.com, the biggest spike in X crashes occurred on March 10 at 3:00 p.m. CET. During this period, about 40,000 users reported not being able to log in to the site or the X app, as well as difficulty downloading content.
