NABU conducted searches at the house of former deputy Yermak Shurma in Germany: UP

Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine searched the house of Rostislav Shurma, the former deputy head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, who was in Germany at the time. About this informs “Ukrainian Pravda” with reference to sources among people’s deputies.
The search took place in the suburbs of Munich with the participation of German law enforcement officers. Shurma’s phone was seized during the investigation. According to journalists, the searches took place about two weeks ago.
It was these investigative actions that became one of the factors that influenced Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s decision — a week after them, he publicly criticized NABU and SAP for “inefficiency” and signed a law that significantly limits the independence of anti-corruption bodies. Rostislav Shurma supervised the economic block in the Office of the President.
We will remind you that in August 2023, the edition of Bihus.Info made public investigation, according to which solar power plants located in the occupied territories and connected to the surroundings of Shurma received payments according to the “green tariff” until the summer of 2023, despite the absence of an alleged connection to the Ukrainian energy system.
In particular, we are talking about the companies “KD Energy 2” and “Renewable Energy of Zaporizhzhya”, the co-owner of which is Oleg Shurma, Rostyslav Shurma’s brother. Two more companies, “Green Energy Tokmak” and “Grandpower LLS”, are related to Ruslan Bozhek, a former subordinate of Shurma, who is considered a close person.
Shurma himself confirmed that his brother received payments from the state enterprise “Guaranteed Buyer” for electricity produced by solar power plants in the occupied territory. At the same time, he emphasized that this applies not only to their companies, but also to “all others”. After the facts were made public, NABU started criminal proceedings regarding payments for electricity from solar power plants located in temporarily occupied territories.
