NATO accuses the Russian Federation of a hybrid campaign to intimidate allies into not helping Ukraine
NATO partners are not intimidated and are actively increasing their support for Ukraine.

Russia is waging a large-scale coordinated hybrid campaign against several NATO members. About this stated NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a press conference before the start of the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting.
“We are seeing a pattern: a Russian campaign orchestrated by the security services to carry out hostile actions against NATO members across the Alliance with attempted sabotage, cyberattacks, arson and other hostile actions. These actions are part of an ongoing campaign in Russia.”, – said Stoltenberg.
He emphasized that NATO allies are increasing their support and providing more aid to Ukraine.
Stoltenberg noted that this hybrid campaign was organized by the Russian special services in order to intimidate the allies so that they stop supporting Ukraine. The campaign covers different parts of the Alliance, which shows its scale and coordination.
“This campaign is ongoing and its purpose is to intimidate NATO allies into stopping their support for Ukraine”, – said Stoltenberg.
However, these actions of the Russian Federation are not successful. NATO allies are not intimidated and, on the contrary, are increasing their support for Ukraine.
“Recent months have shown that NATO allies were not intimidated”, he emphasized.
Stoltenberg noted that recent months have shown an increase in aid to Ukraine from allies. At the NATO summit, a package of long-term support for Ukraine was approved, including increased aid and new commitments.
“Russia is trying to intimidate us, but it has the opposite effect on NATO allies. They are actually increasing their support for Ukraine.”, Stoltenberg said.
