US Vice President Vance complains about harassment by pro-Ukrainian activists

US Vice President J.D. Vance said that during a walk with his three-year-old daughter, a group of protesters chased him, shouting the slogan “Glory to Ukraine”. He wrote about this on Saturday, March 8 social networks H.

“Today, while walking with my three-year-old daughter, a group of protesters with the slogan “Glory to Ukraine” followed us and shouted slogans, while my daughter became increasingly agitated and frightened.” Vance said.

According to Vance, the activists chanted slogans, which scared his child. The politician tried to talk with them to calm the situation, and most of the participants of the action agreed to stop the actions that scared the girl. He noted that the conversation was for the most part correct, but expressed outrage that the protesters resorted to such behavior. In his opinion, chasing a small child during political actions is unacceptable.

“The conversation was mostly respectful, but if you harass a 3-year-old as part of a political protest, you’re a piece of shit.” Vance said.

This is not the first time protesters have spoken out against Vance. Earlier, on March 1, a protest was held in the state of Vermont, directed against the vice president of the United States and in support of Ukraine. That day, the politician arrived there to relax at the ski resort.
