North Korea sent additional troops to Russia

Additional troops from North Korea arrived in Russia in January and February. About this informs Reuters with reference to data from South Korean intelligence.
According to intelligence, North Korea has sent more than 1,000 troops to Russia, adding to the approximately 11,000 troops already in the country to fight against Ukrainian forces.
The new units were placed in combat positions in the Kursk region, where Russian troops are confronting Ukrainian units that have crossed the border into the western part of Russia. South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) has not yet commented on the situation or responded to journalists’ inquiries.
Earlier, NIS reported that North Korea has already sent more than 11,000 troops to Russia to participate in the war against Ukraine. Ukraine and Western experts also note that Russian troops are actively using North Korean weapons. Officially, North Korea denies providing military assistance to Russia in the war against Ukraine.
