Oschadbank has begun testing AI consultants to communicate with clients

Savings Bank launched experimental project “AI-savers” and became the first among Ukrainian banks to officially test artificial intelligence in communication with customers. The initiative aims to explore how technology can complement traditional banking.

Within the scope of the project, clients can ask any question — from saving topics to “how to explain cashback to grandma” — and get two different answers from Mr. Oshchad and Oshchadyk:

  • Mr. Oschad answers seriously, structured and clearly, as an experienced financial specialist.
  • Oshchadyk explains more simply – with examples from life, jokes and informal language.

Users are offered to choose the style that is closest to them. This will help the bank figure out how customers want to interact with digital assistants in the future and tailor services to meet those expectations. As Oschadbank notes, the goal is not to replace live communication, but to make digital services “human”.

“We see that AI is becoming part of the everyday experience and have long been using it in marketing to make our communications more interesting for customers. But it is important that this experience is not cold and impersonal. “AI savers” help us explore how technology can complement live communication and make it easier and faster. We want even digital formats to sound human, and customers themselves can influence what the service will be in the future.” – explained Anton Tyutyun, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank.

AI is already actively used in marketing — in particular, to create illustrations, develop content plans, and work with social network algorithms. In the future, it is planned to scale the use of artificial intelligence among all employees of the bank.
