The former residence of Yanukovych, and now a park-monument of garden and park art of national importance, plans to open its doors to visitors already in May.

According to the Law of Ukraine, accepted in 2023, “Mezhyhirya” received the status of a monument park, which guarantees the preservation of its unique nature and historical value. This status equates “Mezhyhirya” to such well-known parks as “Feofania”, Mariinskyi and Stryiskyi.
An important step was the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to transfer “Mezhyhirya” to the disposal of a special state institution. This will allow it to manage the foreclosed assets, as well as the park’s land and movable property.
Currently, active work is underway to complete the documents and prepare for the opening. Already in May, “Mezhyhirya” plans to receive the first visitors.
According to Oleksandr Krasnolutskyi, First Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Natural Resources, “Mezhihirya” will become not only a nature protection zone, but also a powerful economic asset.
As reported by the special administration of Mezhihirya, the park plans to open its doors to visitors in May. The official opening date will be announced soon.
“Mezhyhirya tourist park builds its work practically from scratch. From the registration of land plots, which are defined by the Law of Ukraine, the accounting of plants, animals, and equipment in the monument park, to the development of new opportunities for mass recreation in nature. In May, “Mezhyhirya” will open its first official tourist season for all visitors”, – the special administration of the park informs.
