Recipients of housing subsidies for the period between heating seasons will be automatically reassigned

Most of the recipients of the housing subsidy for the period between the heating seasons will be reassigned automatically. About this reported Ministry of Social Policy.

“Most recipients who received a housing subsidy during the heating season will have it reassigned automatically (unless the data on their property status or the composition of the household has changed). If such changes have occurred, do not forget to notify the Pension Fund about them. The legislation provides for notification within 30 days of the occurrence of such changes.”, the message says.

The Ministry of Social Policy noted that in some cases it is necessary to contact the Pension Fund with an application and declaration, if:

• housing is rented and the tenant pays housing and communal services independently;
• there are internally displaced persons among the household members;
• the number of actual residents of the residential premises is less than the number of registered residents;
• the family applies for a subsidy for the purchase of liquefied gas, solid or liquid household fuel;
• during the heating season, the subsidy was assigned in the amount of zero.

The Ministry clarified that if the documents are submitted within the first two months after the start of the non-heating season (that is, in May or June), the subsidy will be assigned from the beginning of this period.
