Resort Odesa is getting more expensive: how prices for daily rental of apartments and houses changed in the summer of 2025 in June

With the beginning of the summer season in Odesa, the day-to-day housing rental market has become active again. Apartment prices have risen since May, and in June 2025, demand continues to fuel prices. At the same time, the rent of private houses, on the contrary, became cheaper. Such conclusions made public OLX Real Estate analysts.

Compared to May 2024, the price of daily rent of apartments in June 2025 increased significantly in most districts of Odessa. Primorsky district traditionally remains the most expensive — in the very center or near the sea coast, the rental price reached UAH 1,500 per day, which is 30% more than a year ago.

In the Kyiv region, average prices are UAH 1,400 per night (+27% over the year). In Khadzhibey district – up to UAH 900 (+13%), and in Peresypsk – up to UAH 800 (+7%). The increase is due to the start of the holiday season, as well as the fact that the demand for short-term rental accommodation among domestic tourists is steadily increasing.

A different situation is observed in the rental market of private houses. Here, analysts recorded a decrease in the median cost of living. In particular, in the Primorsky district, daily rent of a house costs about UAH 3,700 — half as much as last year. In the Kyiv region, the rental price averaged UAH 3,000 per day, which also means a decrease of 33%.

In more remote areas, prices are even lower: in Peresypsk — up to 1,000 UAH (-50%), in Khadzhibey — 2,500 UAH per day (-37.5%). The reason for this dynamic is the decrease in demand for large private houses among renters who are looking for more affordable and compact options.
