President Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with the delegation of the House of Representatives of the US Congress, which consisted of representatives of both parties. They discussed the issue of strengthening Ukraine’s anti-aircraft defense.

The head of state informed about the situation on the front line and the urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The main areas of further American assistance were also discussed, including additional air defense systems and missiles for them.
“This is extremely important because Patriot systems help save lives and protect infrastructure. We hope for additional deliveries of these systems in the near future.”, — said Zelensky.
In addition, the meeting discussed ways to further increase sanctions pressure on Russia and the importance of joint efforts to involve countries in supporting the final communique of the Global Peace Summit.
As part of this visit, Ukraine was visited by the Chairman of the House of Representatives’ Standing Committee on Intelligence, Mike Turner, as well as Congressmen Betty McCollum, John Joyce, Ronnie Jackson and Tony Gonzalez.
