Robots instead of people: Ukrposhta completely switches to automated processing of postal items
From February 3, 2025, “Ukrposhta” will completely switch to automated processing of postal shipments, which will significantly speed up the delivery of parcels throughout Ukraine, reducing the time to one day. About this reported general director of the company Ihor Smilyanskyi.
According to him, starting next Monday, all mail will be processed exclusively by robotic systems. This will significantly speed up logistics processes and eliminate the human factor that previously could affect the speed and accuracy of processing parcels.
“Ukrposhta invested more than UAH 1 billion to implement this project in 2024. The company purchased modern equipment from Ukrainian manufacturers, thus Ukrposhta supported the domestic economy and robotized lines and made logistics super fast. Now parcels will reach their owners within one day,” Smilyansky said.
Ihor Smilyansky also emphasized that “Ukrposhta” continues the digitalization of its services, introducing modern technologies and strengthening its position on the market. Logistics automation will allow customers to receive shipments faster, without delays and with maximum comfort.
