Russian Federation shells the border village of Hirsk in Chernihiv region: there are dead, children are among the seriously wounded

Russian troops launched another rocket attack, this time hitting the border village of Girsk, located in the Snovska community of Chernihiv Oblast. As a result of this attack, two civilians, including a child, died. Three more people were seriously injured, two of them children.
The injured were promptly taken to the nearest district hospital. Two children were the most seriously injured: a 12-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy. According to the general director of the Chernihiv Regional Children’s Hospital Tetyana Lebedeva, these children are in an extremely difficult condition, especially the girl.
A 12-year-old girl received numerous injuries as a result of the shelling. Her condition is particularly critical due to the large number of shrapnel wounds that damaged vital organs. Doctors are fighting for her life in the intensive care unit, where she is under constant medical supervision.
A four-year-old boy is also in serious condition. According to doctors, he suffered from severe injuries he received during the shelling, including numerous shrapnel that damaged his head and limbs.
This tragedy demonstrates the particular cruelty of war, when innocent children become victims of violence. The little boy and girl, who had their whole lives ahead of them, are now forced to fight for their existence in the intensive care unit, having suffered from brutal shelling. The tragedy in Hirsk reminds us that war takes away the most precious thing – childhood, which becomes a battlefield for life.
