Russians strike at Kharkiv with UAVs: one of the city’s busiest roads is damaged

On the night of 9 November, a guided aerial bomb hit one of Kharkiv’s busiest roads, damaging the roadway, trolleybus lines and street lighting. This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov on Telegram.
‘There was an explosion in Kharkiv. There may be repeated strikes by the KABs. Please be careful,’ the official said.
At the same time, the military warned of new attacks with guided aerial bombs in the Kharkiv region.
At 3:11 a.m., Terekhov reported that a bomb hit the road surface on the border of two districts of the city. He noted that some civilian infrastructure had been damaged, but there were no reports of casualties at the time.
On the morning of 9 November, the mayor clarified the consequences of the night shelling. According to him, the strikes hit one of the city’s busiest roads. The road surface, trolleybus contact lines and lighting system were damaged.
Terekhov also said that one of the petrol stations was destroyed and rendered non-functional, while another sustained minor damage. Several windows were smashed in a nearby hotel, and a construction hypermarket located at the intersection sustained minor damage.
