Since the beginning of the project “Recovery Army”, as of May 6, 123.67 thousand unemployed people have been involved in the performance of socially useful works.
About this in Telegram the State Employment Service reported.
The largest number of unemployed people joined the project in the following regions:
- Kharkiv region – 22,129 referrals;
- Donetsk region – 15,116 referrals;
- Kyiv region – 14,215 referrals;
- Chernihiv region – 13,557 referrals;
- Poltava region – 13,291 referrals.
In total, 19 regions joined the “Recovery Army”.
UAH 885 million has already been sent to pay wages for participation in the government project “Recovery Army”.
From April 1, 2024, the salary for performing socially useful works has increased to UAH 12,000 for a full month of work.
Types of socially useful works depend on the needs of a specific region. The military command, together with the military administrations, determines what jobs are needed in the region, reports this to the employment service, which offers the unemployed to join in performing such jobs. A fixed-term employment contract is concluded with these people.
All unemployed people who are registered with the employment service can join the “Recovery Army”.
