Short video lessons for daily development have appeared on “Diya.Osvita”

The Action.Education platform launched a new training format — short video lessons for daily development. Currently, about 200 educational video bytes are available, which contribute to better learning of the material and ensure the continuity of the educational process. About this reported Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

Bytes are not a substitute for deep learning, but on the contrary — its natural continuation, which is especially convenient in situations where you need to quickly recall knowledge before an important event, see the practical application of a skill, get a first idea of a new topic, or gradually accumulate knowledge in a limited time.

“We adapt educational opportunities to everyone’s needs to make learning easier, faster and more effective. That’s why we launch training on “Action.Education” in a convenient byte format. Now the platform has about 200 byte videos available on the most relevant topics — from artificial intelligence and online security to entrepreneurship and programming. Each video in the section is one practical insight or key aspect of skills that can be applied immediately.” – noted the Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov,

The effectiveness of this format is confirmed by modern scientific research. For example, the CASTLE model, created by researchers from the University of Duisburg-Essen and the Technical University of Chemnitz, emphasizes the importance of short, meaningful and regular learning interactions in the digital environment.

“Building a digital state involves not only the creation of convenient services, but also the development of digital skills – as the basis of competitiveness, security and economic stability of citizens. It is for this purpose that in 2020, “Diya.Osvita” – a national platform for the development of digital literacy and reskilling – was created. Today, it unites more than 2.6 million users and is constantly updated, responding to the demands of the times, changes in the labor market and global educational trends”, — explained Valeriya Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration.
