Today, the deadline for voluntary return from the NWC expires in Ukraine

On March 1, 2025, the period of voluntary return to service of servicemen after the first voluntary desertion of a unit (SZCh) will end in Ukraine. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.

According to this rule, during martial law, military personnel who first voluntarily left the military unit, but later voluntarily returned, could continue their contracted service and resume cash payments. This applied to those who left parts until November 29, 2024.

“Servicemen who voluntarily left the military unit before November 29, 2024, still have time until March 1, 2025 to return to service. Then all payments and social guarantees will be renewed in 72 hours, and the serviceman will be able to transfer through Army+ to another unit with a letter of recommendation.” – the message says.

Initially, this law was to expire on January 1, 2025, but the parliament extended the term until March 1, 2025.

“After March 1, you can also return to the service, but not according to this simplified algorithm through Army+. In this case, reinstatement in the service may take several months. And until that moment, financial support and other guarantees will not be returned.” – the ministry said.
