Sibiga meets with Erdogan in Turkey

During his visit to Turkey, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiga, held a meeting with the country’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He reported this in his posts on platform X.
Sybiga thanked Erdogan for his unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and also emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey, especially in the defense sphere.
“I also emphasized the need to ensure freedom of navigation in the Black Sea. They also discussed ways to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace“, said the minister.
On October 21, Andrii Sybiga began his two-day visit to Turkey. During the meeting with his Turkish colleague Hakan Fidan, he discussed the “Victory Plan”, the “Peace Formula” and the release of Ukrainian prisoners of war.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that Crimea should be returned to Ukraine in accordance with international law.
