Power supply problems are observed in seven regions of the country

Shelling and technical problems on Sunday, April 28, left thousands of Ukrainians without electricity and gas supply. Currently, interruptions in the provision of energy resources are observed in seven regions of Ukraine Ministry of Energy.
In particular, as of Sunday morning, 1.5 thousand subscribers were cut off in 11 settlements of the Sumy region. In Kherson, 2,800 metering points remain without power, and in general, 28,500 subscribers in 45 settlements are without power in the region.
In the morning in Kharkiv Oblast, 9,300 subscribers who were left without power supply due to hostilities recovered. After the shelling, 26,100 metering points remain without power. Due to network restrictions in the Kharkiv region, disconnection schedules are applied for about 200,000 subscribers.
In Mykolayiv Oblast, a transformer substation was de-energized after morning shelling. As a result, 9 enterprises were left without electricity. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, 45 subscribers were cut off as a result of the hostilities. Restoration work is ongoing.
As a result of hostilities in the morning in Zaporizhzhia, 25 subscribers lost power, due to technological reasons – 3,600 subscribers. Currently, the electricity supply has been restored. In the morning, 49 accounting points remained without electricity in the region due to technological violations, and 3.7 thousand subscribers due to hostilities.
As a result of shelling in Donetsk region, 6,588 subscribers in 2 settlements were cut off. Repair crews recovered 6,788 metering points – in particular, those that were cut off earlier. Currently, 45,600 subscribers in 95 settlements remain without voltage in the territory controlled by Ukraine in the region.
The reasons for problems with gas supply in the regions as of April 28 are mainly technical aspects. In one of the settlements in Zhytomyr Oblast, a gas pipeline was damaged during earthworks. About 100 subscribers remain without gas supply in the region. Also, due to technological reasons, 40 subscribers in the Kirovohrad region were left without gas supply.
In addition, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported that eight people were poisoned by carbon monoxide in Transcarpathia and Lviv Oblast over the past 24 hours.
