Stefanishyna announced the completion of work on the draft agreement on fossils between Ukraine and the United States
The draft agreement on cooperation in the field of minerals between Ukraine and the USA has already been prepared and is awaiting signing. About this stated Olga Stefanishyna, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
“The agreement is ready, there are no changes to the text. The negotiations are closed. The American side has not decided when and under what conditions they want to sign it at this stage.” – said the official.
According to Stefanishyna, the text of the agreement has been agreed upon, the negotiations have been completed, and there are no obstacles to signing on the part of Ukraine. However, the American side has not yet decided on the terms and conditions of the conclusion of the agreement.
We will remind that in February, the USA offered Ukraine to sign an agreement, which provides for the creation of a joint investment fund. It will be filled with funds received from the sale of Ukrainian minerals, and the fund will be managed by both countries.
