Syrsky had his first conversation with NATO Commander in Europe Hrinkevich

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi spent the first telephone conversation with the new commander of the NATO Joint Forces in Europe, US General Alexus Hrinkiewicz. According to the results of the conversation, he received clear guarantees of further support for Ukraine.

“Had the first telephone conversation with the new commander of the NATO Joint Forces in Europe, US Air Force General Alexus Hrynkevich. The conversation took place in the spirit of true partnership,” — said Syrskyi.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces emphasized that General Hrinkevich had assured of providing a new package of weapons for Ukraine.

“Received firm commitments of support from both America and the Alliance. Following the recent announcement by US President Trump and NATO Secretary General Rutte about a new arms package for Ukraine, we are looking forward to an intensive phase of cooperation in the coming months.”, – emphasized Syrskyi.

It will be recalled that on July 4, General of the US Air Force Alexus Hrynkevich headed the Operational Command of the United Armed Forces of NATO at the headquarters of the Supreme Commander of the Alliance in Europe. He succeeds US Army General Chris Cavoli, who has served since 2022.
