In the Kharkiv region, they want to spend 16 million hryvnias on the repair of the school, which is 10 kilometers from the border with Russia

Authorities of the Zolochiv community in the Kharkiv region announced a tender for the repair of the basement of the Pisarivka gymnasium, which can be used as a shelter, worth UAH 16.13 million. The auction is scheduled for June 5, and the work should be completed by the end of the year.

Kharkiv Anti-Corruption Center expressed doubts about the expediency of such expenses, taking into account the proximity of the village to the border with the Russian Federation and the possibility of evacuating children from border settlements.

The head of the community, Viktor Kovalenko, previously reported on the preparation of the forced evacuation of children from some villages, in particular Vidrodenivskyi, which is located only 8 km from Pysarivka.

It is noted that the expediency of spending such a significant amount on the repair of the basement of the gymnasium raises questions, especially considering the warning of the head of the community, Viktor Kovalenko, about a possible offensive of Russian troops in the Zolochiv direction. This information was confirmed by the head of Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov last week.
