The agreement on minerals between Ukraine and the United States will be signed: Stefanishyna

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Minister of Justice Olga Stefanishyna said that Ukraine did not reject the agreement on minerals proposed by the US. It is currently at the discussion stage and will be signed, informs The Guardian.

“We expect it to be signed,” – said Stefanishyna.

She also said that she is closely following the development of events in the USA, but is convinced that, despite hesitation on many issues, the European Union will be strong enough to support Ukraine on its way to victory.

We will remind that on February 16, the spokesman of the National Security Council of the White House, Brian Hughes, called the decision of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi to refuse to sign an agreement on granting the US access to rare earth minerals in Ukraine “short-sighted”.
