The Ukrainian military at various levels is increasingly disappointed in Trump because of his political decisions and statements. They admit that Washington’s support played a decisive role – not only in providing weapons and financial resources, but also as a moral stimulus in the struggle for independence.
However, the steps taken by the US to improve relations with Russia, as well as constant accusations against Ukraine, undermine trust in America and call into question its role as a strategic partner.
“We considered the Americans to be comrades, even though the US did not have any troops here. The entire army is assessing how Ukraine will live, even if there is a complete cessation of the supply of American weapons.”, – noted the soldier with the call sign “Black”.
“We know that Trump does not feel sympathy for Ukraine. Trump loves only himself. His actions are not for the benefit of America, everything he does, he does for himself“, – emphasized the military doctor, the commander of the evacuation squad with the call sign “Volvo”.
The military man with the call sign “Sanych” admitted that the decision to abandon the US symbols was not easy, as he considers the Americans allies and brothers in arms. He emphasized that without the support of the USA, it would be much more difficult for Ukraine, but during the three years of war, Ukrainian society has become stronger and will not allow itself to be broken.
