The bodyguard of People’s Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko, Kostyantyn Zubera, who is a suspect in the case of an attack on a military man in Dnipro, cooperated with the investigation. According to sentence court on November 13, he pleaded guilty to illegal deprivation of liberty, committed as a result of a previous conspiracy, and to torture. According to the court decision, having entered into an agreement on November 7, Zubera undertook to cooperate with the investigation and to testify against other persons, including Deputy Tyshchenko.
Zuber was sentenced to five years in prison, but thanks to a plea deal, the court commuted that sentence to probation with two years of probation. This means he will remain free as long as he does not break the law during that time. In addition, Zubera is obliged to periodically report to the supervisory authorities, to report on a change of residence or work, and not to travel abroad without permission.
